This is a heritage railway, with a Thomas the Tank Engine as well as other activities. It uses part of the original London and North Western line from Northamptonshire into the Cathedral city of Peterborough and the stations of Yarwell, Wansford, Ferry Meadows (Nene Park) and Orton Mere. Check website for open days. It is also worth checking the web- site to book Thomas Big Adventure and Santa specials.

There is a Museum, shop, cafe, Exhibition Engine Shed and Loco Yard. A ‘Rover Ticket’ allows unlimited travel on the day of purchase. Stations at Ferry Meadows in the heart of the 500 acre Nene Park, Orton Mere and Peterborough. Eastern terminus of the Nene Valley Railway, Peterborough.
