Regular air shows that are very impressive with famous military aircraft taking to the skies. There are great aerial displays from spitfires and other World War planes at these events. These are held usually in Spring, Summer and Autumn. Outside of the air shows, it is a really interesting place to visit to learn about history and planes. Collections of tanks, military vehicles and artillery. It has three cafés on site – The Mess Restaurant, Wing Co Joes Café and Station 357.
Getting there: Car – Just south of Cambridge at Junction 10 of the M11 motorway. Bus: please look up as times change however there are some services that go near, and special buses on air show days.
