This is a modern day treasure hunt, using a GPS device to find hidden containers or ‘caches’. It is a nice, simple idea set up by volunteers worldwide. And it’s free. You can put in your postcode and search for nearby caches. You can also find out how to hide your own cache using the guidelines online. They will contain a log book to sign, and a small number of items of low monetary value that you can trade e.g. Key rings, small toys.
