Eating out with the Kids
We are spoilt with the variety of cafes and restaurants in Cambridge. There is something for every taste. Many are independent cafes and restaurants serving local produce. You can get tasty burgers, milkshakes or pancakes, or eat Italian by the river just off Jesus Green overlooking the river. There are sushi and burrito places all within the main shopping centre, Jack's Gelato for nice ice-creams, or sit by the big Waterwheel at MillWorks. Plenty of delicious cafes with cakes such as Tom's Cakes and of course the famous Fitzbillies on Trumpington Street for Chelsea Buns. With covid restrictions many do need booking ahead and there are lots of places where you can eat outside. Below is a selection of places my kids and others rate the best.
