National Childbirth Trust (NCT)

This has a Cambridge branch run by volunteers and offers support for parents and those who are pregnant. It can be a good way of getting to know local parents. It runs several antenatal groups, and one for men too. And also very good nearly new sales of baby gear which could save you a fortune. Look at their website for the variety of classes here.
